For over 40 years, multi-award winning Judd McIlvain, the distinguished television-radio consumer reporter and crusader, best known as The Troubleshooter, fought for the “Little Guy”. Aways to be known as Troubleshooter Judd. Judd was crowned one of the most trusted consumer investigative reporters in the U.S. He had done reports for CBS News, ABC News, CBS’s 48-Hours, United Press International and KCBS TV News, L.A. His “Troubleshooter” TV Consumer show ran for four years in L.A. and he had been doing his Troubleshooter News segments in L.A. for 14 years. With the advent of the Internet, Judd McIlvain’s good work extended internationally to support companies worldwide that proved to have trustworthy products and services.
His honors included two local Emmys, eight Golden Mikes, four Los Angeles Press Club honors and Texas’ top prize for investigative reporting, the Headliners Award.
